This is nothing less than a demonic love, a pretended affection, consuming sinners into an abyss of cold, lukewarm indifference, a so-called middle ground world created by Satan and called by the world today 'tolerance;--the very essence of false charity. 

A Meditation

"He drew near to Jesus to kiss Him: but Jesus said to him: "Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?" (Luke 22: 47-48)


     
We live in perilous times, these modern times, when many souls are on the brink of hell, fire, and damnation and are indifferent because of false love, false charity, or the lovism of the day, which is the coalescence of all artificial loves and feelings. The false charity of Judas Iscariot and his false loves of the world have ravaged again the body of Christ, today’s modern Catholic church, as well as Christianity in general.

This age and these times have worshiped at the altar of money, pride, pleasure, and self-power, precisely where Judas Iscariot went astray in his betrayal of Jesus Christ, Our Savior; therefore, Judas had to live with a feigned love of Christ, a false charity which culminated in his betrayal and his false kiss of Jesus in spite of his fallacious claim to discipleship all the same. It is this false charity of the modern world, an outgrowth of liberal Protestantism and feel-good Christianity, that has so wantonly betrayed Christ’s love, a false love which has likewise been embraced heartily by modern day Catholic theology and Christian charity, especially since the gathering of Vatican council II and Pope John XXIII’s famous declaration of "adjornamento," when he opened the doors of the Church to the modern world in order to renew the faith in the world.

The false charity that is upon us all in these latter days should be no surprise to biblically aware Christians and Catholics who have contemplated often on these prophetic words of Jesus Christ: 



"And many false prophets shall rise, and shall seduce
many. And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of
many shall grow cold."(Matt 24: 17)



Thus we can observe from this that it is the lethal false perception of what is Christ’s teachings that has led precipitously to this false kiss of Judas and false charity. We must also realize that this doctrine of false charity is all pervasive, seeping with its poisonous venom into virtually every part of theological discipline: scriptural, moral, systematic, dogmatic, liturgical, spiritual, and even ecumenical theologies. Accompanying the false charity is the wickedness of the day in such a flood of malice as Our Dear Lord prophesied so truly: homosexuality, abortion, adultery, fornication, sterilization, euthanasia, and stem-cell research, to name but a few. One would have to be blind to deny the profundity of wickedness that abounds in these times.


What is the nature of this false charity?

It is, in truth, not charity at all or love of God, or love of one’s fellow man in the least, but a dastardly, diabolical cover-up like Judas’ false kiss of Christ that purports to be love but, in reality, has nothing whatsoever to do with love. In fact, it is the master of deceit in all of its subtleties, pretending to truly love, yet being the total opposite altogether. This false charity of the modern world is so devious and full of Satanical deception that it deserved Our Divine Lord Jesus Christ’s most powerful condemnation. After Judas betrayed Jesus, the Son of God, with the false kiss of false charity, Jesus uttered with authoritative finality:



"It were better that thou were not born than to betray
the Son of God with a kiss." (Matt 24:21)



There is no stronger condemnation in all of Sacred Scripture by Christ than these portentous words, for Our Dear Lord wished to warn all mankind of the sheer wickedness and folly of false charity above all other sins. This false charity is a lie perpetual by the father of lies himself, Satan; and it is engulfing souls by uncountable numbers in the Catholic Church today who have been taught to pervert Christ’s infinite charity into a false Satanical love by as much as what is not faithfully taught as by what is unfaithfully taught. This is nothing less than a demonic love, a pretended affection, consuming sinners into an abyss of cold, lukewarm indifference, a so-called middle ground world created by Satan and called by the world today ‘tolerance’–the very essence of false charity.

Why?  Because 'tolerance' is dressed up by Satan to appear as love, the father of lies, he fools many, many souls;  for rat poison, like tolerance or false charity, is ninty percent food and only ten percent lethal poison.  Yet rat poison still kills most effectively and absolutely.   However, 'tolerance' or false charity kills eternally with everlasting finality.  How many abortion-minded Catholics today and same-sex marriage Catholics feel they are being 'nice and tolerant' toward others who opt for this life style by being silent, but are literally paving their way to hell with such a diabolical tolerance.  Our Lord's own words will condemn them:


"I know thy works, that thou are neither cold, nor hot. I would thou wert cold, or hot. But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, nor hot, I will vomit thee out of my mouth.  Because thou sayest:  I am rich, and made wealthy, and have need of nothing: and knowest not, that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.  (Rev. 3: 15-17)


"Judas, would you betray the son of Man with a kiss?" (Luke 22:48)

How much these foreboding words of Jesus Christ are a dramatic admonishment against the error of false charity, especially for us moderns who have been warned in advance by Christ that this spiritual malady would be all pervasive in these latter days—"in the end the charity of many will grow cold." This was a deceptive, cunning appearance of love of Christ by Judas; but, in reality, it was a vicious, wicked pretension of love that hid beneath the surface the filth, sin and corrupting death of the human soul.



"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you
are like whitewashed tombs which outwardly appear beautiful, but within they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness." (Matt 23:27)



It is this travesty of the Judas kiss and its utter semblance of love that so bespeaks the modernist manifestations of love of Christ in the Catholic Church today. At no time in the history of Holy Mother Church have we witnessed such a realization of this travesty than in the false love of the Holy Face of Christ, our Lord and God, in the desacralization of His Real Presence in sanctuaries everywhere. Clearly, this desacralization of Jesus’ Sacred Face is so obvious when one walks into a Roman Catholic Church today and he cannot find the tabernacle of the Real Presence, located everywhere just thirty-five years ago at the summit and center on the high altar. This, more than anything else is a deceitful love of man and not a belief in the love of Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist. This is nothing less than the false kiss of a false love. Is not the modernist positioning of Christ’s tabernacle in the remoteness of Church vestibules, on side altars of insignificance, and even in church basements, exemplary of the fallacious loves of Judas’ false kiss?



Ironically, a Church basement in Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Roseville, Michigan relegated for years Christ’s infinite love for mankind to a Church basement, an utter denial of that Divine Love by an act of cold, calculating rejection and blasphemy. However, under the current Ordinary, Adam Cardinal Maida, this abuse has been corrected.  Moreover, the very Cathedral of the Detroit Archdiocese, Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, has the Real Presence relegated to a side altar of insignificance. Pictures of this wreckovated Catholic Cathedral can be seen on the thoroughly orthodox Catholic website, Domus Dei.

Does not all of this equal the abject denial of belief in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ by those early disciples who were many and who walked no longer with Jesus because "this is a hard saying: who can listen to it?" (John 6: 60) Such was their false love of Christ, simply because they did not really love Him in spite of their so-called discipleship and protestations otherwise. Can anyone truly say today that the false kiss of the love of Jesus’ face does not exist in many, many Catholic Churches where this sacrilegious blasphemy goes on daily without any directive or approval of such from Rome in the American Catholic Church?



Another grievous manifestation of this false charity of Judas in Catholic Churches everywhere is the desacralization of the Temple of God with the removal of kneelers that formerly existed everywhere in Catholic Churches throughout the world before Vatican Council II. An example of this, again in the Archdiocese of Detroit, at St. Germaine Parish. Whatever desacralizes the just worship due to Almighty God in His Real Presence in Catholic Churches somehow counters the spirit of the first commandment and only expresses once more the compromised love of Judas’ false kiss with its false charity.



A variation on this same disrespectful theme is the discontinuance in many Catholic "communities" of the practice of genuflecting, a form of false charity vehemently condemned by St. Paul himself:



"Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on
Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2: 9-11)



To live and function in this world of false charity, one must have as his bedfellow Satan, the master of deceit, fraud, and wickedness whom Our Divine Lord called the father of lies Himself:



"He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing
to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies." (John 8: 44)
