MISSALE ROMANUM II--THE MOST EFFACACIOUS AND PERFECT ACT OF WORSHIP

Only one explanation is possible for this unholy dichotomy between the "Novus Ordo Missae" of Paul VI and the "Missa Latina Tridentina" of Pope Pius V, a division which has severed the once united orthodox Roman Catholic Church in two:  causing two Masses, two priesthoods, two rubrics, two theologies, two catechisms, two lectionaries of Scripture and two traditions.

Certainly, it is this cataclysmic liturgical explosion of the false spirit of Vatican Council II, led by the liberal think tank of serpent-tongued theologians and ‘periti,' such as the most notorious Archbishop Annibale Bugnini,  that has precipitated this inevitable rupture and declension of the orthodox Roman Catholic faith and tradition. It is precisely this modernist cant that has created the ‘second reformation’ of the "Novus Ordo Missae" within the Church today.

The new mass has brought about this reformation of change because it has a protean nature that is oriented to constant variations and novelty, while the old mass is steeped in a tradition that reaches back to the Last Supper in the Upper Room and a codification in perpetuity by Pope Pius V and the Council of Trent.

Until the "Novus Ordo Missae" returns to its Latin roots,

It is precisely this modernist cant that has created the ‘second reformation’ of the "Novus Ordo Missae" within the Church today.

The new mass has brought about this reformation of change because it has a protean nature that is oriented to constant variations and novelty, while the old mass is steeped in a tradition that reaches back to the Last Supper in the Upper Room and a codification in perpetuity by Pope Pius V and the Council of Trent.

Until the "Novus Ordo Missae" returns to its Latin roots, which saw the Mass as a "sine qua non" sacrificial offering of the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and not some celebrious protestant meal, propagated by the feel-good Christianity and liberal Catholicism of the last forty years, this ugly confrontation shall sadly continue unabated.

What a violation this is of Our Lord’s words: "That all may be one, even as Thou, Father, in Me and I in Thee; that they also may be one in us..."(John 17:21-22) One also wonders how contradictory, too, this division is in the once orthodox Roman Catholic world towards the very ecumenical spirit of togetherness that was so heralded by this same great conciliar gathering of Vatican Council II. How mean-spirited and divisive this battle between the "Novus Ordo Missae" (the New Order of the Mass) and the "Missa Latina Tridentina" (the Tridentine Latin Mass) has become for the whole Latin rite and one wonders when it shall come to an end.

But there is hope, and the times seem to be ameliorating with the elevation to the throne of Peter of Pope Benedict XVI, for he has already publicly taught that the Ordinary of the Mass ought to be in Latin, in particular the "Kyrie, Gloria, Credo," the "Sanctus," and the "Agnus Dei." This is, indeed, a welcome return to Roman orthodoxy and the tradition of Latin by the Holy Spirit in the Church, and by the strengthening hand of the Vicar of Christ. While this is very commendable and praiseworthy, there is still a very great struggle ahead to cleanse the Latin rite of Holy Mother the Church before the crucified and risen Savior returns. Indeed, what a holy challenge this is!

This is nothing less than an epic struggle which involves the battle between Jesus Christ, the eternal High Priest Himself, and Judas Priest, the false priest of division and betrayal, and moreover, between those Jewish leaders and false apostles who wanted a worldly king and not a crucified and immolated one. This struggle has also proceeded between Our Lord and those who wished to secularize and deconstruct the orthodox Roman Catholic Church, the Mass, the Priesthood, the "Missale Romanum" (the Roman Missal), and most deplorable of all, the deromanization of the Roman rubrics as well as centuries and centuries of tradition via the tactics of cultural diversity and the vernacular.

These were not the changes of innocent souls who simply desired a holier and more saintly Mass or one correctly translated from Latin to English! No! This was a well-orchestrated maneuver to divide, destroy, and defeat the most efficacious and perfect act of worship the world has ever known or will know, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass: "Missa Latina Tridentina."

What a battle, what a war, and what a victory lies ahead for the Good Shepherd of all orthodox Roman Catholic souls, who inevitably heed Christ’s admonitions to His apostles and followers: "I am the Good Shepherd: I know mine, and mine know Me." (John 10:14-15)

There is no other true shepherd of souls but the Good Shepherd of orthodox Roman Catholic souls, who so perfectly feeds, nourishes, tends, and defends his flock always. How has this infinite Good Shepherd of all orthodox Roman Catholic souls fed His sheep for centuries and centuries? He has done this, of course, by feeding, nourishing, tending and defending them with the "Missa Latina Tridentina."

Can one be an authentic Roman Catholic if he is not orthodox or orthodox Catholic if he is not Roman?
